All the articles printed in Optometry in Practice are peer reviewed so you can log 1 CPD point per learning hour (Group 6 of the Australian standard) for reading them. 

If you pass the associated quiz you can double the number of points (Group 3 of the Australian standard).

To help you assess the appropriate time, most articles have printed on them the number of UK CET general points for optometrists. This is the number of learning hours which the article takes to read.

In the quiz answer sheet please enter your OAA registration number. The pass mark is 70%. 



The Association of Optometrists Ireland (AOI) has awarded 1 CPD point for every Optometry in Practice article accompanied by a multiple choice quiz. To gain the point optometrists must read the article and pass the quiz.

The pass mark is 60%. 


New Zealand

Articles printed in Optometry in Practice which are CPD-accredited by the NZAO are listed on the NZAO website and accessable here, and to gain points you must read the article and complete the associated CPD quiz. If you pass the quiz you will be emailed confirmation, with a link to thepeer review activity form. You must complete and submit this form to NZAO to gain confirmation of your points. 

The pass mark is 70%.
